Dr. Capone is the proud recipient
of several awards for his work,
including the Pharos Editor's Prize,
the Sir Harold Delf Gilles Award,
the NIAF Gagliardi Award and the AMA Community Service Award. He
has numerous publications, teaches Johns Hopkins
resident surgeons, delivers
lectures, and is currently editing a
textbook of facial plastic surgery.

He is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and Co-Director of the Greater Baltimore Cleft Lip & Palate Team.
After training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, he
completed fellowship at the University of California,
Davis. He holds degrees from Duke University,
Emory University, and the University of Rochester,
and is licensed in Maryland, New York, and California.
Dr. Capone is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and
Alpha Omega Alpha national honor societies, the
American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive
Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the
American Medical Association, the American Cleft
Palate & Craniofacial Association, and the American
Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
